ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT
One of my favorites as a kid. Still one of my favorites as an adult.
“And California never felt like home to me, until I had you on the open road.”
Death Cab for Cutie’s “New Year” is always the perfect soundtrack to January 1st.
This video of Snoopy ice skating to the incomparable Joni Mitchell is nothing short of four minutes of happiness.
REMEMBERING GEORGE MICHAEL
We have lost yet another icon. This has always been a favorite. That voice showcases what an incredible talent he truly was.
DOCTOR FEEL GOOD IS A SONG
It seems that each of us across the world have been affected by politics and greed and tragedy. It is more important now than ever to stand our ground and, as Gandhi so courageously advised, be the good we want to see in the world.
This playlist is filled with fun, awesome songs to replenish your soul. I tried to keep it current. I have an old school one in the works, as well. 😉
“I TOOK A PILL”
This song is lovely in its authenticity. I cannot imagine how courageous you would have to be to own this. Love.
A “MILLION REASONS” TO LOVE LADY GAGA
I have the privilege of covering live shows. I was in attendance for New Kids on the Block (hold your tongue or I will slap you), a couple of years ago. The opening act was Lady Gaga. I was mesmerized. Now, to find out she is not only an entertainer but she has talent for days.
WE WILL MISS YOU, LEONARD COHEN
We recently lost the legendary wordsmith, Leonard Cohen. I debated about what I should share in his honor. He is an artist far beyond his massively covered “Hallelujah.” However, I felt that Jeff Buckley’s beautiful and magical cover was what first brought that cover to the mainstream. So enjoy. It is incomparable.
